At noon, the flag of Sant Bartomeu will be delivered to the Caixer Sobreposat, followed by the first Toc de Fabiol and the delivery of candles and water by the town. In the afternoon, the comparsa de capgrossos will tour the streets of the town, followed by the Colcada, presided over by the caixer batle who will go to the Town Hall after the Jaleo in the Pla de l’Església and a tour through the streets of the town. After the Solemn Completives, a concert will be held on the municipal football field.

The party will resume the next day with a comparsa de capgrossos and the Ferreries Music Band touring the town. The start of the Colcada and the Caixers replec will take place. After the Solemn Mass and the Beguda dels Caixers, the Caixer Batle and the Caixer Capellà will be accompanied to their homes. Then, the flag will be returned to the City Council and the darrer Toc de Fabiol will be held, dissolving the Colcada at the end. There will be musical performances and a night festival.

The origin of the festivities of Sant Bartomeu must be sought in the beginning of the fourteenth century, after the creation of the Parish and the formation of the primitive population center.
